We are currently recruiting a Lead Compliance and Payments Administrator to join our Deposit Services team. Reporting to our Vice President, Deposit Services, you will play an integral role in the day -to-day implementation and on-going development of the Deposits compliance framework, with an emphasis on client AML/KYC due diligence activities, EFT payments and clearing record keeping and reporting obligations. The successful candidate will demonstrate their ability to operate at a strategic level, assess controls and have sound judgment in identifying risks in order to proactively escalate with senior management. You will have a commitment to providing exceptional client service and support, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities and challenges as they arise.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of seven years’ experience in the banking/financial industry with direct experience in regulatory compliance and payment processing. You have a business degree or post-secondary education in a related field. You have sound knowledge of AML/ATF regulations and Payments Canada rules and standards. You thrive in a customer centric team-based environment, can manage competing priorities and possess a strong attention to detail. Excellent written and oral communication skills and advanced computer proficiency, particularly using Microsoft Office products are essential.
