We are currently recruiting for a Credit Analyst to join our Commercial Real Estate Lending team. Due to COVID-19, this role will see you working remotely until our office is fully reopened. This position assists the Commercial Real Estate Lending Team by providing underwriting support to our origination team. You will also assist with the ongoing account monitoring and administration of commercial real estate loans.

Responsibilities include gathering and providing analysis of third-party reports including income statements, rent rolls, corporate financial statements, appraisals, environmental assessments and other credit information as well as ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures. The successful candidate will also ensure all credit and other risks and mitigants are properly. You will complete credit reviews on a timely basis and ensure that the terms and conditions of the credit have been met and any aspects of increased risk are identified and addressed.

Your background includes a minimum of 3 years in a directly related commercial real estate lending role. Experience and understanding of commercial real estate, corporate financial statement analysis, and credit application preparation is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is an asset. You have strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new systems. You are an energetic self-starter with strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and business communication skills and the ability to multi-task.
