As a member of the Investment Risk & Control team, you will play an important role in the risk management of the Bank’s Point-of-Sale Financing division, the fastest growing product offering of the Bank. In this role, you will complete the documentation review for each funding which includes reviewing submitted contracts against the Bank’s accepted formats. You will run various monitoring metrics to ensure fundings are compliant with the Bank’s prescribed risk limits. As well, you will compile funding packages which entails collecting various reports from different stakeholders in the Bank and ensuring that all items are on-hand and signed-off prior to disbursement of funds. Overall, this position will appeal to a results-oriented individual who thrives in a unique, fast-paced, tech-savvy and informal team environment.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar or related role. Prior experience with private securitization programs or syndicated transactions and familiarity with cashflows/NPV calculations is an asset. You have a business degree or post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent work experience. Strong computer skills, particularly using Microsoft Office products, exceptional time management and attention to detail are essential.
